CTL TED-Ed CLub Students at the 2020 TED-Ed Weekend Conference in New York
Our Grade 8 students (Aisha Adamu, Lota Alagbe, Hannatu Aminu, Abdul Dagazau, and Haiqa Shelleng) were partcipants at the 2020 TED-Ed Weekend Conference alongsides peers from 25 other countries which was hosted at the TED Headquarters in New York. They participated in workshops learning from the best in the industry about how to use their voice to bring positive change to the world.It was a wonderful experience.View Photos
Speech Therapy at CTL
This school year, CTL has added speech and language therapy to its list of available services. Mrs. Channey McGrath, M.E.D., M.S. CF-SLP is a United States trained Speech-Language Pathologist and Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Ms. Channey will be providing services in the areas of language, articulation, voice, fluency, and reading/literacy support. Ms. Channey is currently under the direct supervision of a U.S. based Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and is working toward her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This certificate is the highest awarded certificate in the field of speech and language therapy presented by The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
