A Saturday Blast! CTL’s Annual Fall Festival

Situated in the serene area of Katampe Extension, CTL Academy (Center for Teaching & Learning) hosted the celebratory gathering on campus grounds to foster school spirit, create lasting family memories, and highlight the importance of strong parent-school partnerships.

The school grounds were fully transformed into an autumn-themed festival space decorated with vibrant arrangements, festive pumpkin cutouts, and handcrafted banners. A dedicated photo station—complete with a autumn banner, scarecrow display, and interactive photo cutout props—gave children and families a fun backdrop to capture memorable moments. Attendees enthusiastically embraced the fall theme, wearing seasonal orange attire, decorative headpieces, graphic t-shirts, and creative costumes.

A central feature of the day was the school’s “Parents Corner,” setup under a shaded canopy to encourage active family engagement, open dialogue, and community building. Parents sat together to exchange stories, listen to event hosts, and participate in facilitated discussions highlighting the vital role of family-school collaboration in supporting student growth and well-being. The interactive session offered an inviting environment for parents to form stronger connections with one another and with the school’s faculty.

The festival ground was filled with high-energy activities and structured games designed for participants of all ages. Highlights included tabletop strategy games like chess and Jenga, as well as a popular suction-arrow archery range hosted at the Pinpoint target station. Younger children enjoyed obstacle courses, ring-toss games, and spoon races on the green turf, while adults participated in lively blindfolded cup-sorting challenges and group relay competitions that drew cheers from the crowd.
