Class of 2019 Graduation

Arguably the highlight of our year, PreK, Elementary, Middle and our maiden High School graduation was a day and a night of fun, laughter and many tears. Our graduation speaker for the morning event which featured the PreK and 5th Grade classes was Mr. Richard Ough, Senior Economist for the UK Department of International Development (DFID). The US Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador W. Stuart Symington, was the speaker for the evening event. The Valedictorian, Koye Alagbe who graduated with a Grade Point Average of 4.6, received the prestigious President's Award for Education Excellence signed by President Trump and presented by Ambassador Symington. The evening ceremony ended with the passing of the light of knowledge where the graduating seniors symbolically passed the ‘light’ to the next group of students. It was a proud moment for CTL.

CTL Academy Edible Book Fair-2019

Every year at CTL, we hold an Edible Book Fair to celebrate books and reading. We create edible expressions of books we have read and loved. This year's edible books include class entries, individual student entries, team entries and adult entries. The edible books are displayed, judged and then eaten. Yum! You can find the pictures in the gallery.

CTL Academy Graduating Seniors

CTL is proud to announce that our pioneer set of graduating seniors are blazing trails. Our two seniors have been accepted to universities of their choice in the US and UK. One student has an offer of admission to Stanford University in California while the other is headed to Northampton University in the UK. We are very proud of our senior class of 2019!

Study Trip to Portugal and Greece

CTL students went on a study trip to Portugal and Greece to deepen their knowledge of Medieval Europe and Ancient Civilizations. They visited many historical sights and immersed themselves in the cultures of both places. It was also a wonderful bonding experience for the team.
